Felicia Cowden is in her second term as a Kaua’i County Councilmember and Committee Chair for Public Safety. Her background is in business, education, engineering and media. Neighborhood food production and regenerative agriculture have been areas of focus for more than ten years. Her Akamai Backyard of edible landscaping in which she shares organic produce and starts on a routine basis, are a reflection of her passion for healthy resilient food production. She has been on many boards over the decades. It was an honor to be a start-up member of the Kauai Food Forest. Small business ownership with Hanalei Surf Company for 18 years gives her a solid foundation in understanding business. Nourish Kauai has held her interest and support since its beginning.
